Introduction
This anthology is jam-packed with as many swords and as much sorcery as I can fit between two covers. In selecting stories for this anthology, I paid special attention to what I think is the sword and sorcery genre's greatest strength: its focus on individual characters and their desires and dreams, which a reader can feel as their own even if the story takes place in another world. Oh, and there are some dragons in it, too.
